Promotions
NAC|Architecture announces the following staff promotions:
To Associate Principal:
  Darrell Turner, AIA, LEED APDarrell Turner, AIA, LEED AP, has 27 years of architectural experience and is a member of The Center for Health Design. Currently, he is working on designs for Highline Medical Center’s Birch Wing addition in Burien, Washington; the master plan for Ketchikan General Hospital in Ketchikan, Alaska; and a number of projects for Franciscan Health System in Tacoma, Washington. Turner holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Washington State University.  
To Senior Associate:

John EckertJohn Eckert, AIA, joined the firm in 1995 and is a member of NAC|Architetcure’s healthcare team. Presently he’s working on designs for additions to ALK-Abelló’s Pharmaceutical Facility in Post Falls, Idaho; a comprehensive addition and remodel of Cascade Medical Center in Leavenworth, Washington; and renovation/upgrades to the ICU and CCU at Kootenai Medical Center in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Eckert holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Idaho.

 

Stan HargusStan Hargus, AIA, LEED AP, has over 30 years of experience and is actively engaged in the firm’s continuing education activities. Hargus is currently the project manager for the modernization and replacement of Snohomish High School in Snohomish, Washington, a multi-phased GC/CM project on an occupied campus. His portfolio also includes the recently completed Western Washington University Academic Instructional Center in Bellingham. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Houston.

  Steve Wescott, AIA, LEED AP, joined NAC|Architecture in 1996 and is a graduate of the Sustainable Building Advisor Program, advocating for sustainable construction practices and systems. Presently, he is working on designs for Echo Glen Children’s Center, a juvenile rehabilitation facility located in Snoqualmie, Washington, and Highline Medical Center’s Birch Wing addition. Wescott holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Idaho and attended the International Architecture & Design Study Program at the University of Copenhagen. Steve Wescott

  Vaughn Bray, AIA, LEED APVaughn Bray, AIA, has 31 years of experience in architecture and design. Bray’s portfolio includes Highline Medical Center’s Birch Wing addition and the newly completed Group Health Bellevue Medical Center in Bellevue, Washington. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Idaho and a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin - Stout. Bray also attended the International Architecture & Design Study Program at the University of Copenhagen.
